Greetings StartupCrafters!

StartupCraft III is officially on the books!  Mark August 13th on your calendar and head over to registration ASAP to sign-up.  IGN once again has graciously offered up their offices for what will surely be the biggest StartupCraft yet!

Matches will be livecasted by Painuser, Fishstix, CatsPajamas and TheGunrun, among others.  We will also have food, drinks, and plenty of giveaways/prizes, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

The format for this tournament will be the same as last - one 1v1 bracket and one 2v2 bracket.  Please keep in mind that for StartupCraft III, both members of the 2v2 squad must work for the same company. Also, both brackets will have some preliminary rounds played online prior to the event, so please take that into consideration when signing up. Registration will be open until July 22nd.

All proceeds from StartupCraft III will support TACA (www.tacanow.org).

No, unfortunately you need to choose one :( Tournaments are held simultaneously, and we want as many people to be able to participate as possible.

Also - we are trying to get HD! We'll let you know if we get a confirmation.

Hi there, I have a few questions.

1. Is it free for guests to go watch? Is the food free as well?

2. Do we need to bring ethernet cables? My computer (desktop) does not have a wifi card.. will I need one?

3. I'm assuming we need to bring our monitors as well?

4. How will the qualifers work? When will they take place?

5. Updates on if HDStarcraft will be there?

Hi Will,

1. The event is free, although we will be collecting donations to support TACA (tacanow.org), which all of the tournament proceeds will go to support.

2. There should be ethernet connectivity, but please bring a cord just in case.

3. Yes, you will need a monitor :)

4. We are waiting to see how many signups we get until we decide on a format for the qualifiers, but they should take place in the two weeks leading up to the 13th.

5. We're working on it! HD is a busy man, but I know he wants to be there if he can.
