All the brackets for Startupcraft are now full thanks to an amazing response from the SF startup community. You can still register on the registration page to be added to the wait list and get notified if any teams drop out.
We will be posting the brackets a week before the competition so that teams can get a friendly rivalry going and strategize against competitors. Also, look for more announcements in the weeks to come on celebrity judges for the costume contest, prizes, and sponsors.
Lastly, if you are coming to just hang out, spectate, or participate in the costume contest, please register below so we can get an idea of who is coming. Free registration will guarantee entrance just in case we hit capacity at the Justin.tv office. Thanks!

When we announced Startupcraft SF a few days ago we were unprepared for the overwhelming community response it would have. Since Friday, over 40 teams have registered! The 2v2 Experts bracket and 2v2 Beginners brackets are now full. Brackets will be posted closer to the launch date.
Still want to play? You're in luck -- you can still register for the 4v4 bracket. Register now to ensure your team's place! Alternatively, you can register for any filled bracket and we will add your name to the wait list and notify you if a space opens up.
As always, everyone is welcome to come check out Startupcraft even if you aren't playing.

We're pleased to announce the first ever Startupcraft Tournament on October 2, 2010, a Starcraft II tournament with 2v2 and 4v4 competitions for tech startups in the San Francisco Bay Area. As founders of several technology companies in SF, we were amazed to discovered we shared more than just a love of entrepreneurship, but also a deep-rooted love of Starcraft II. We figured there would be others like us. Thus was born Startupcraft.
Events
Startupcraft will feature the following brackets:
- 2v2 Experts Tournament
- 2v2 Beginner Tournament
- 4v4 Tournament
All brackets will be single elimination and limited to 16 teams. Teams from all startups are welcome to enter the competition, and can field up to two teams per bracket. Experts 2v2 bracket is for players who rank 1v1 Gold or better on Battle.net, while the Beginner 2v2 bracket is for Bronze/Silver/unranked players. A $50 donation is recommended per team, 100% of which will be donated to
Child's Play.
Details
Startupcraft will happen at 11am on October 2, 2010. We'll have beer and catered food (more details to come). Even if you don't love Starcraft you should come and hang out! It will be an awesome time.
We'll also be broadcasting match play all day starting at 11am live on Justin.tv on our Starcraft show,
House of Craft, as well as on the Live Broadcast tab of this site.
Bonus: Costume Contest

Anyone who has been to Blizzcon knows that dressing up as a Starcraft character can be half the fun of the game. So, to get everyone in the spirit of Starcraft, we're encouraging anyone who wants to to come dressed as a Starcraft character (although that won't be required for entry). We'll also have a costume contest with startup celebrity judges and a special prize for the winner!
